a tour of the terry wild studio

Our studio is housed by what was once a barn.

One look at the Terry Wild Studio is enough to let a person know that they are looking at something unique. Operating out of a 200 year-old renovated barn, twelve miles southwest of Williamsport, the studio has been growing steadily since its establishment in 1974. The quiet Pennsylvania surroundings and the beautiful cedar clapboard barn invite visitors and clients to explore the creative possibilities of the Studio and its locale.

The Studio provides creative commercial, industrial, editorial, and portrait photography to a broadly based clientele in both film and digital medias. With over 1200 square feet of space for shooting, studio capability ranges from intricate tabletop shots to moderate set building. Spacious barn doors even allow for vehicles to be pulled into the studio. The downstairs houses the offices, film lab, B&W and color print facilities, editing rooms, stock photo division, and kitchen facilities.

The market for quality digital photography has been steadily growing, and we look forward to shooting more and more jobs digitally. We are finding that with digital photography, we are able to work quicker and more critically because of the speed at which a final product can be viewed. Clients are also pleased with the ability to leave with a completed job in hand.

The creation of the Terry Wild Stock Photo division was a natural outgrowth of the commercial and fine art activity of the Studio. With nearly 300,000 images cataloged, Stock services the needs of advertising agencies, book publishers, magazines, etc, throughout the United States.
